Word Watcher- Blog Post #4

" Some of the chores were reasonable, some unreasonable, some bizarre as the meanest whims of a gnome setting tasks to a treasure seeker." pg 96

The text above uses a literary element which is simile. Jack is saying how some of the chores that he got were bizarre as the meanest whims of a gnome setting tasks to a treasure seeker. He was saying that some of the chores that he had to do were reasonable but some were unreasonable.

  1. I liked your post because this really showed how the author uses literary elements to portray a certain idea. I think that you should explain a little more on what the sentence that the author wrote means and go a little more in depth so that the blog reader can understand both whats going on in book, and understand the idea your trying to convey.
